Judaism: Why are they having a party?

Year 2 are learning about Judaism this half term, and the celebration of Rosh Hashanah, which is the Jewish New Year. This festival takes place in September - the Shofar horn is blown and Jewish people eat Challah (special bread), apple and pomegranate with honey. Year 2 enjoyed tasting this food.
