The Verulamium Museum

Year 3 had a great time visiting the Verulamium Museum as part of their History topic: “How did the Roman Empire’s invasion change Britain?”

They had the chance to dress up as Roman villagers and shop at the local market, as well as exploring the museum and learning lots of new facts about Roman life (and death)! A highlight of our trip was seeing the beautiful mosaic tiling inside the preserved hypocaust.
