The Pirates of The Curry Bean

This year's Year 6 production was called The Pirates of The Curry Bean. It was about a group of pirates, sailors, and a family of four. They all went searching for one treasure chest and met funny situations along the way. The production was funny., had a good storyline; there was singing, brilliant acting, play-on words, amusing jokes, and everyone remembered their lines. The story wasn't the same as The Pirates of the Caribbean, which made it more unexpected and tremendous. The quality was epic and everyone spoke with a loud and firm voice. The two children who were controlling the music timed it perfectly and the music went with the scene correctly.    Sareen, 5OM

The Pirates of The Curry Bean was the most interesting, humorous and amazing production I have seen. It was about a family who lost their dad. they met many characters, like the pirates of The Curry Bean, the two children selling cockles and mussels and the sailors of The Crunchy Frog. They were washed onto the shore of Lumbago Island, where they found their dad, Captain Swaggersword, and the treasure. It was interesting because the story had lots of twists, like the ending where their dad got his memory back. It was humorous with pirate jokes and it was amazing, as all the actors remembered their lines and projected their voices,    Arush, 5OM

The Pirates of The Curry Bean was about some pirates, sailors, a tribe, and a family looking for treasure. The family found out that their father was a chief of the tribe. It was amazing and hilarious because there were many jokes; I really liked the singing parts. It had incredible actors. It was a brilliant show altogether.    Emilia, 5OM

The school production was called The Pirates of The Curry Bean. It was about a family that had lost a husband and a father. The pirates set sail on The Curry Bean looking for treasure, whilst a band of sailors and the Periwinkle family boarded The Crunchy Frog. When they both docked in Lumbago, they found the treasure and the missing father/husband. I think there was a good storyline, great acting, and a beautiful soundtrack to make an engaging production.    Joy, 5OM
