The Earth and Space

 
To launch our new topic on the Earth and Space, Year 5 studied Van Gogh’s famous painting The Starry Night. Based on this, the children wrote a descriptive paragraph, imagining that they were inside the painting, gazing at the stars. In Art, all children designed and created an original embroidery using a combination of running, back, satin and cross stitches, French knots and woven wheels.
