Sustainable Fashion workshop

Year 6 members of the Eco Council had a brilliant afternoon attending a Sustainable Fashion Workshop. After learning just how huge an impact fashion has on the environment, we learnt how to upcycle old t-shirts. We all worked hard and quickly mastered the art of making t-shirt yarn and used finger knitting to create bracelets and key-rings. The children are now brimming with ideas for how they might be able to use this new skill to upcycle clothes destined for landfill. Thank you to Toyah and Natalie from Act for Ealing for running the workshop.
