Our Eco Councillors have written to our local MP, James Murray, about our support for The Climate Coalition's Show The Love campaign. Many of our pupils have met Mr Murray before, either through Oceans and Climate Day, the School Council or our handing in of the Oceans and Climate Petition to 10 Downing Street. We are so pleased to have an MP who really cares about the climate, and have sent him a handmade green heart badge to wear. Our letter is signed by every member of the Eco Council who was in school today, and is a reminder that the government needs to keep the promises it made during COP26 to support green energy, reduce carbon and improve environmentally friendly transport options.
