Prayer Groups at Holy Cross Church

At our first prayer group of the new academic year, we thanked God for His many gifts to us and for blessing us with a wonderful start to the term!

Our Junior prayer groups, led by our Worship Ambassadors, are held in Holy Cross Old Church (2:30-3:00pm). The meetings include a reading from the Bible and a discussion, and the sharing of prayers written by pupils and their families.

The dates for this term are:
Friday 23rd September – 6EP Group 2
Friday 7th October – 6EP Group 3
Friday 14th October – 6OM Group 1
Friday 4th November – 6OM Group 2
Friday 11th November – 6OM Group 3
Friday 18th November – 5LM Group 1
Friday 2nd December – 5LM Group 2
Friday 9th December – 5LM Group 3
All parents/carers are warmly invited to join us.

On the previous Friday, pupils receive a card on which to write their prayers (to be returned on the Wednesday before their prayer meeting).

Do not worry about anything. But pray and ask God for everything you need. And when you pray, always give thanks.
