Wednesday 15 October 2025 Year 3's role models project Children in Year 3 were invited to take part in a Role Models project - and in our former pupil, Bukayo Saka, they found the perfect example to look up to! The children spoke confidently about how Bukayo inspires them and how he lives out our school values. They were then joined by a very special guest - Bukayo himself!

Sunday 21 September 2025 Peace One Day On Sunday 21st September, our Junior Choir (invited by Young Voices) featured in the global Peace One Day concert, streamed live to audiences worldwide.

Thursday 7 August 2025 A visit from Bukayo Saka! Bukayo Saka has generously funded a community project, supporting families at our school and other local schools, by providing free uniforms, helping to ease the pressure of the ongoing cost of living crisis. We were delighted to welcome him back to school today.

Tuesday 20 May 2025 Year 4's act of service: sponsored run Huge congratulations to our Year 4 superstars, who ran a mile for Housing for Women and raised over £855. Proof that little legs can make a BIG difference. We are so proud of you!

Friday 4 April 2025 Bishop Lusa's visit We were honoured to welcome Bishop Lusa to our school, following our Easter Service! Our Worship Ambassadors interviewed him about his role, before a guided tour of the school.

Monday 10 March 2025 School Street Thank you to pupils from Years 4 and 5 for our School Street assembly. They explained what makes a healthy street, why being active is important, how to cross the road safely (STOP, LOOK, LISTEN, THINK!), and how active travel will help to reduce pollution in and around our school.

Friday 7 March 2025 Goodbye, Fr Graham At the end of our Lent Mass, we said goodbye to Fr Graham and wished him well as he takes up his new role in Eltham. Fr Graham has been a blessing to our school and community and we will miss him!

Wednesday 5 March 2025 Prayer cards Thank you to our Year 6 Worship Ambassadors for organising our new prayer cards. These are available for pupils (outside the Infant Welfare Room and Junior Hall) and adults (outside the office).

Tuesday 4 March 2025 Climate Justice exhibition 2025 Two of our pupils represented our school at the Climate Justice exhibition at The Houses of Parliament today. They listened attentively during the training and spoke confidently to MPs about Climate Justice. It was fantastic to be interviewed, too, and spot work on display from other pupils from our school!

Friday 25 October 2024 Edward Betham Walking Bus Thank you to everyone who joined Mr Parker, our Explorer Ambassadors and Betham Bear for our walking bus today. The bus marked the end of our ten-day active travel challenge, to promote healthy habits around active and sustainable travel to and from school.

With 90% of big fish populations depleted, and 50% of coral reefs destroyed, we are taking more from the ocean than can be replenished. This week, we will learn more about ocean habitats and how we can help to restore health and productivity.

Sunday 2 June 2024 UEFA Champions League Festival Year 4 were invited to join the Champions League Festival - four days of football-related entertainment (30th May-2nd June). This meant use of a football pitch at Somerset House!

Thursday 23 May 2024 London Fo Guang Shan Temple Yesterday Year 6 visited a Buddhist temple. Despite being based behind Oxford Street, it was a very peaceful and tranquil place to visit to learn more about Buddhism.

Friday 15 March 2024 Meeting Mary Seacole As part of Year 1’s History topic, the children have been learning about Mary Seacole and Florence Nightingale. The children participated in a Mary Seacole workshop; they were able to learn more about her life and how she has influenced the world of medicine.
