Year 6 went on a trip to the Royal Courts of Justice. We got to dress up in character and use the court room to re-enact a real case. The whole trip was an incredible experience.

In Perivale Woods, we built a ‘tree’, learnt about the functions of the different parts, listened to poetry in the bluebell wood, learnt how to measure the age of trees, produced leaf rubbings, and learnt about the parts of a flowering plant.

On Vision Day we learnt about the story of St Paul. St Paul wrote the words of our school vision; he wrote letters to help the churches live a life that would make God pleased. We wrote our own letters to St Paul as we think he would like to know how his words inspire us every day.

Year 5 are studying Earth and Space. In Art we looked at Vincent Van Gogh's picture 'The Starry Night' and we used it for a stimulus for our writing and embroidery. In our embroidery we tried to use five stitches: running, knot, cross, woven wheel and satin.
